The Vice President of the Republic, H.E Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has expressed confidence in the Black Stars ahead of Ghana’s clash against Portugal on Thursday, November 24.
The Ghana national team will for the first time since the start of the 2022 FIFA World Cup be in action tomorrow in the opening game in Group H against the star-studded Portuguese side.
Ahead of the game, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has urged the Black Stars players to put up a good fight to defend the motherland.
“The moment has come for the Black Stars to take on the world. We have a group of talented players who have been selected the e and they cannot be intimidated by anyone,” the Vice President said in a video message posted on social media.
H.E Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia added, “I want to urge the Black Stars to go on and play their hearts out for mother Ghana. We can stand the fight, we have done it before and we can do it again.
The game between Ghana and Portugal is scheduled to kick off at 16:00GMT on Thursday.
