Marriage is said to have no time limit and it’s the first institution created by God. Companionship is also one critical area as humans we cherish so much because it also helps in every human endeavor, therefore, we yearn for it irrespective of our age.
At a colourful ceremony, an 84-year-old woman, Madam Alice Akosua Kwapong got married to Bishop Asiamah Okyere of Miracle Church of Christ International.
The traditional marriage termed as the engagement was held on Friday 18th December 2020 and the wedding happened on Sunday 20th December 2020 at Miracle Church of Christ International at Dansoman in Accra.
Madam Akosua Kwapong has lived in the UK for 60-years while her husband Bishop Asiamah Okyere also lived in the USA for over 40years.
According to sources, the couple resides at Dansoman Exhibition in the Greater Accra Region whenever they come to Ghana.
When asked what motivated them for the union, the newly wedded couple said, in life, you must do what makes you happy.
“We felt getting marry will make us happy despite our individual age, hence the move and now we are husband and wife,” the couple added.
