Court has ordered Asante Kotoko pay CLOSEmarking Consult a whopping sum of GHS120,000 in the next seven days or have the club’s account frozen.
It can be recalled that CLOSEmarking CONSULT acted as representatives of the Porcupine Warriors in the case against Tunisian giants Esperance involving the transfer of midfielder Kwame Bonsu.
Having taken the case to FIFA, Mr. Ashford Tettey Oku and his CLOSEmarking Consult firm was hired by Asante Kotoko to help retrieve their money.
After several engagement at the FIFA Disciplinary Committee, the firm was able to win the case as the Kumasi-based club was paid in full by Esperance.
Surprising, Asante Kotoko have since then not paid CLOSEmarking Consult for its role in the matter.
According to information gathered, several attempts by Ashford Tettey Oku and his people to get the club to pay them has proved futile.
Having taken the case to court, they have won with the court ordering Asante Kotoko to make payment of GHS120,000 in the next seven days.
Failure to comply, will see the Court freezing the accounts of Asante Kotoko.
