Ghana Is Going To Experience More Hardship–Prophet reveals

It has been predicted that Ghana may face severe economic hardship if steps are not put in place to address the drastic devaluation of the Cedi.

The situation has resulted in high commodity prices in the country, ranging from consumables and products to cosmetics, clothing, transportation, and others.

This was predicted by the founder and leader of the Gethesemane Int. Min. Prophet Charles Baah in an interview with CapitalNews Online

He blamed the situation on the excessive importation of almost every commodity, with little or no exportation of any locally produced item or commodity from the country.

Though the problem is attributed to bad economic policies by the government, according to experts, however, Prophet Charles Baah has blamed traders, particularly market women for taking undue advantage of the situation and horde items, so as to inflate prices.

This attitude, he said, has created a lot of economic hardship on Ghanaians, especially workers whose salary has not been increased, in the midst of these challenges.

He stressed that as part of measures to remedy the situation, the government should put in place modalities to control the prices of items on the market, and also ensure that the country consumes what it produces, rather than over-relying on the importation.

Prophet Charles Baah noted that until that is done, the country will experience more severe hardship than it is currently facing.
