John Dumelo has extended his appreciation to his colleagues in the creative art industry for their support before, during, and after the 2020 general elections.
In the election held on Monday, December 7, the famous Ghanaian actor contested for the Member of Parliament position in the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Although he lost, John Dumelo has insisted that he does not see it as a defeat.
In a post on his Facebook page on Sunday, he has thanked his colleague actors and all industry players from the creative art sector who offered their support during his political journey.
“To my colleague actors and those in the creative arts industry who supported me, God bless each and everyone of you, many of you did without me having to ask and I appreciate the overwhelming show of support,” part of John Dumelo’s statement on his Facebook reads.
