    3rd Cohort Of Apprentice Under Kayayie Empowerment Programme Pass Out

    The third cohort of 600 apprentices under the Kayayie Empowerment Programme has successfully graduated from the Madina-based Kayayie Empowerment Centre.

    The apprentice learned skills such as bead and jewelry making, manicure and pedicure, baking, soapmaking, decor, and makeup artistry.

    The apprentice were given certificates and start-up tools to start their own business. Kofi Nkansah Fosu, the Chief Executive Officer of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP), said at the graduation ceremony that the training of other Kayayie’s under the Kayayie Empowerment Programme will continue.

    He told the visibly excited graduate apprentice that their graduation marks the beginning of their entrepreneurial journey.

    The NEIP Chief Executive Officer urged them to work hard and manage their respective business well and employ other individuals.
