Okudzeto Ablakwa gifts wheelchairs to physically-challenged persons in North Tongu Constituency on Xmas Day

Mr. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the Member of Parliament (MP) for North Tongu has gifted wheelchairs to physically challenged persons in the constituency as their Christmas presents.

According to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) MP, he is continuing his annual tradition of merry making this year by putting smiles on the faces of persons with disability in his constituency.

“Our North Tongu Christmas project this year is to dispatch free wheelchairs to all physically challenged and to replace all rickety wheelchairs of my beloved constituents.

“Showing compassion to the vulnerable is the acme of Christmas. Merry Christmas my friends,” Mr. Samuel Okudzeto announced on Friday morning via his Twitter page.

The sharing of the wheelchairs become one of many interventions undertaken by the MP in the past year.

Not only did he provide financial support to teachers in his constituency during the lockdown period, the North Tongu MP has also earlier this year shared laptops to all elected assembly members in the constituency.
