Ghana Premier League giants, Asante Kotoko have confirmed that they have completed the signing of talented teenager Clinton Opoku.
The club has in the last few weeks been in talks with the representatives of the attacking midfielder over his possible signing.
On the back of successful talks, Asante Kotoko have managed to secure his services on a long four-year contract.
“A young prospect with a 𝗕𝗜𝗚 future. We have completed the signing of 18-year-old attacking midfielder Clinton Opoku on a 4-year deal from Phar Rangers.
“Welcome, #AsuomMessi!!,” an official club statement said on Wednesday.
The teenager in the past year has displayed massive potential and has been tagged as the next big deal.
The 18-year-old has become the third signing of Asante Kotoko this month with the club keen on brining in reinforcements before the start of the 2021/2022 football season.
Already, Asante Kotoko have signed midfielder Richmond Lamptey and defender Maxwell Agyemang.
The two have already started training with new head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum.
