Over 20 Artistes For ‘Ghana + Peace’ Concert On Sunday

 

Over 20 Ghanaian artistes including Gyedu Blay Ambolley, Pat Thomas, Ras Caleb Appiah-Levi, and a host of others, have been invited to perform at an event dubbed ‘Ghana + Peace’ concert on Sunday, December 1, at the Madina Market, La Nkwantanang School in Accra.

Highlife, Afrobeat, dancehall, and hiplife artistes will perform at the Ghana + Peace Concert, which is being organised by Sly Collins in partnership with Obiba Foundation, Virtual Hub, DreamChild Foundation,Chemarims Federation Africa,Abii National, Bethel Logistics and more, with support from DAILY GUIDE.

A number of personalities including celebrities, lawmakers from all political parties, and people from all walks of life areexpected to attend the event dubbed ‘Ghana +Peace Mass Conference Street Jam’.

The event is one of the initiatives Obiba Sly Collins is hosting to encourage harmony among Ghanaians, as the general election on December 7 approaches.

Leading figures from the various political partiesare anticipated to take the stage at the event to inform Ghanaians about the need to refrain from actions that could jeopardise the forthcoming general election.

Approximately thirty performing artistes will gather for the performance, which will feature a variety of peace songs composed by some of the artistes.

In a Facebook post, the headline performer,Obiba Sly Collins, urged Ghanaians to prioritise Ghana in all their actions, both during and after the elections.

“Before and after the elections on December 7, we want to use this concert to preach and educate our people about the importance of peace,” he continued.

Sly Collins asserts that Ghanaians are generally peaceful, and predicts that the elections in 2024 will be no exception.

Stars like Obiba Sly Collins, Amandzeba Nat Brew, Pozo Hayes, Kamelyon,DelaBotri, Agbeshie and many more will also perform during the event. They have all promised their fans in and around Madina nothing but good live musical performances.
