Abronye Plans To Resign From His Executive Position To Face Party Saboteurs

Information the scouts of the Capitalnewsonline.com has picked from the inner circles at the Office of the Bono Regional Chairman suggests that the Bono Regional Chairman, Kwame Baffoe aka Abronye DC might lay down his tools as the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Bono Regional boss.

Our source revealed that Abronye will from between 30th December 2020 and Saturday 2nd January 2021 hold a meeting among all the Regional Executives and the twelve (12) Constituency Executives of the region.

At the meeting Abronye will thank them for the extraordinary hard work, commitment and dedication couple with the zeal that region has shown during the just ended Presidential and Parliamentary Elections.

The subsequent message from the Bono Regional Chairman at the meeting would be his resignation from the party as the regional chairman of the NPP party.

His reason to tender in the resignation per the explanation from his circle is to afford him the opportunity to expose and face squarely party saboteurs with the nation of bringing the NPP to its kneels in the region.

According to our source, Abronye will also deal with the greedy and selfish thirst a pursuit he believes he can only get done properly and well executed if he holds no executive position of the party.

The governing NPP has been hit with at least 33 incumbent MPs losing their seats in the just-ended elections. Among this figure, about 21 of them are either Ministers of State or Deputy Ministers.

In another related development is, the Campaign Manager for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Peter Mac Manu has disclosed that he will be summoned before the party’s Review Committee for an interrogation on the performance of the party in the just-ended elections.

Speaking to JoyFM recently, he said the Review Committee will among others look at the turnouts of results, particularly, in the parliamentary elections, and evaluate the situations that lead to the results the party had in the polls.

“We have a review committee in place, headed by Nana Osafo Maafo with veteran politicians like Paapa Owusu Ankomah, Fred Oware, Elizabeth Ohene amongst others on board,” the Campaign Manager said.

According to him, the Committee has called his assistant so eventually, they will call him, adding he does not know when but he knows that they will eventually call him.

“Many things go into parliamentary elections. In our case, parliamentary candidates were not able to convince voters enough to attract their votes.

The Campaign is your ability to give and send messages directly to the voter which should touch their hearts for them to vote for you.

“So you cannot blame the Campaign Director solely for the failure of an MP to fail to retain his/her seat. This is because the way you behave in your community among others can cause your people to say ‘they do not like you’ because of the behavioural changes you exhibit after winning the elections,” he explained.
