The Black Meteors of Ghana have suffered a 10-thrashing at the hands of the Japan Olympic team at the end of a double-header international friendly contest.
The U-24 team of the West African side and that of the Asian country today locked horns at the Best Denki Stadium in Fukuoka for the second of the friendly games.
In a game where Ghana coach Paa Kwasi Fabin made a number of changes to his starting lineup, the Japan team still proved too strong.
At the end of the clash, the Asians have cruised to a massive 4-0 win against the Black Meteors of Ghana.
Adding up to the 6-0 the team enjoyed last Saturday at the Best Denki Stadium in Fukuoka in the first of the two friendly matches, Japan has made it 10-0 on aggregate as they seek to finalize preparations for the upcoming Tokyo Olympic Games.
For the Black Meteors of Ghana, these two games are expected to help the team prepare for the 2023 All Africa Games.
Later this weekend, the Ghana U-24 team will engage Korea in a similar exercise as well.
The games are scheduled to be played on June 12, and 14, 2021, respectively.
