“Time to Choose Progress Over Loyalty”…Ex-Security Chief Urges Ashanti Voters to Support NDC for Real Change

With the December general election approaching, former Ashanti Regional National Security Coordinator, Enoch Amoako-Nsiah, has called on Ashanti voters to prioritize regional development over long-standing party loyalties.
Addressing the significance of votes from the NPP stronghold, Enoch Amoako-Nsiah suggested that the time has come for Ashanti residents to choose leaders committed to actualizing meaningful progress.
Pointing to the NDC’s track record of development in Ashanti, he argued that supporting the opposition could bring the needed focus and resources to the region.
Speaking at a media engagement in Kumasi, he said: “The stakes are too high for blind loyalty,” Enoch Amoako-Nsiah emphasized, adding that residents should assess each party’s accomplishments objectively.
He urged voters to back John Mahama and the NDC, predicting that this shift could pave the way for sustainable growth and a stronger future for the Ashanti Region.
The Ashanti Region, traditionally an NPP stronghold, holds significant sway in national politics, making voter sentiment in the region crucial.
Enoch Amoako-Nsiah emphasized that regional loyalty to a party should not come at the cost of progress.
“The NPP may hold our votes, but do they have our best interests?” he asked rhetorically.
According to Enoch Amoako-Nsiah, the NDC has delivered infrastructure, social programs, and economic support that tangibly improved lives in Ashanti.
Encouraging voters to take a critical look at both parties’ contributions to the region, Enoch Amoako-Nsiah urged them to make informed choices based on visible results. “Our future depends on it,” he emphasized. By backing Mahama and the NDC, Enoch Amoako-Nsiah argued, Ashanti voters could secure a government that places a high priority on regional development and empowers local economies.
This election, he stressed, should be about progress rather than loyalty, urging Asanteman to “take a stand for real, meaningful change.”
