Wake up from the slumber – Lydia Forson tells NDC

Ghanaian Actress, Lydia Forson

A Ghanaian Actress, Lydia Forson charged the largest opposition party in Ghana the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to swiftly wake up from their slumber and hold the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) accountable the same way they did to them.

This she said, she is highly disappointed with the kind of opposition the largest opposition party the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is offering the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).

According to her, the NPP when in opposition gave the NDC a hell of a time with their governance style but the NDC is so calm with their political opponent in office now.

“I give respect where it’s due, and the NPP were a better opposition because they did not give the NDC peace,” she disclosed.

The renowned Actress further stated that NPP knows the game of politics better than the opposition NDC.

Below is Lydia Forson’s statement.

We must equally hold the opposition accountable the same way we do the ruling party.

A USELESS opposition only gives the ruling party even more power.

NDC in opposition have been a complete joke save for a few moments, because they’re busy playing internal politics, holding prayers against gay people, and trying to advance their own political careers by stealthily siding with the ruling party.

I give respect where it’s due, and the NPP were a better opposition because they did not give the NDC peace.

They made it almost impossible for them to make any moves they didn’t approve, and they managed to get us all so involved, sometimes we were just jumping on the bandwagon, because of ak3 ask3

I may not always like their politics but they know the game.

The NDC should be grateful that the electorate has become more politically conscious and they’re doing a lot of the work for them to jump in and scream chobue chobue.
