A renowned preacher and Civil Servant, prophetess Celestina Baffoe has advised the youth not to allow themselves to be swayed by material gains, but rather channel their energy into gainful employment opportunities to earn a better living for themselves.
Speaking to the media in Agona Swedru she expressed regrets about the way majority of the youth are going wayward and the rate of death among them, blaming it on peer pressure and the desire for easy access to richness.

According to her, some parents have also shirk their parental responsibilities, leaving the upbringing of their children to the influence of their peers.
According to her, the situation is becoming so alarming nowadays that it will need a concerted effort by all to fight against it.
She said she is shocked about how modern-day society has accepted the practice of “Saka” where boys as young as fourteen years ride in luxurious cars as a norm.
According to her, the unborn generation will have no future if things are allowed to continue like this.
