Afro-Arab Group President Commends Kwahu Business Forum

The President and Founder of the Afro-Arab Group of Companies, Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu, has commended the organizers of the Kwahu Business Forum for creating a powerful platform that empowers entrepreneurs and promotes economic development.

In a radio interview granted in Accra after the event, Ambassador Amadu expressed admiration for the initiative, describing it as a major opportunity for empowered entrepreneurs to network, gain exposure, and connect with industry players.

“This is my first time travelling to Kwahu because of the forum, and I must say that so far, two banks have already visited me at the Afro-Arab Group Head Office following the event,” he revealed, highlighting the immediate business opportunities and partnerships the forum created.

He stressed that forums like the Kwahu Business Forum serve as critical platforms for inspiring and nurturing the next generation of business leaders. “Platforms like the Kwahu Business Forum serve as a stepping stone for empowered entrepreneurs to gain exposure, learn, and connect with others in the business space,” he noted.

Ambassador Amadu also emphasized the need to expand the reach of the forum beyond Ghana. He called on the organizers to consider inviting firms from across the African continent to participate in next year’s edition, as a way of advancing regional integration and promoting the Africa Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).

“I strongly encourage the organizers to look into bringing in companies from other African countries next year. It will not only expand business networks but also align with the vision of the Africa Continental Free Trade. This forum can become a major platform for intra-African trade,” he suggested during the interview.

He further noted that the forum’s impact goes beyond business, playing a significant role in promoting tourism and boosting local economies. “The forum will give birth to many empowered entrepreneurs and also promote tourism in the area,” he added.

Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu, who has multiple business interests across sectors and hails from the Zongo communities, also used the interview to express appreciation for the leadership behind the initiative. He commended the President, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, and the Chief of Staff, Hon. Julius Debrah, for their leadership and unwavering commitment to empowering entrepreneurs across the country.

“I have been hearing about Kwahu for many years, but this is my very first time travelling there because of the forum,” he said. “I must say I am truly impressed by the level of organization, the quality of networking opportunities, and the foresight behind this initiative. It’s a real game-changer for empowered businesspeople like myself.”

Ambassador Salamu Amadu, known for his strong advocacy for youth and business development through the Afro-Arab Group, reaffirmed his commitment to supporting initiatives that open up growth opportunities for entrepreneurs across Ghana and the African continent.
