The Ghana Anti-Corruption Coalition has officially unveiled its 25th Anniversary logo, marking a significant milestone in its sustained efforts to promote integrity, transparency, and accountability in Ghana.

The unveiling forms part of activities to commemorate the Coalition’s silver jubilee, celebrating 25 years of coordinated action against corruption since its establishment in 2001.

Over the past two and a half decades, GACC has served as a key convening platform, bringing together civil society organizations, public institutions, the private sector, the media, and citizens to strengthen collective efforts in combating corruption and promoting good governance.

Through its interventions, the Coalition has played a pivotal role in raising public awareness on corruption-related issues, advocating governance reforms, and enhancing citizen participation in accountability processes.

Its flagship initiative, the Local Accountability Networks (LANets), currently operates in 40 districts across all 16 regions, empowering citizens to demand transparency, improved service delivery, and accountable leadership at the local level.

The newly unveiled anniversary logo symbolizes GACC’s 25-year journey, the partnerships it has built, and its continued commitment to advancing collective action against corruption.

Speaking at the event, Board Chair of GACC, Nana Osei-Bonsu, described the milestone as both a celebration of achievements and a moment for reflection on the work that remains in strengthening integrity and accountability in the country.

He emphasized that the Coalition’s progress over the years has been driven by the dedication and collaboration of its members, partners, development partners, and citizens who continue to support its mission.

As part of the anniversary celebrations, GACC will roll out a series of programmes and engagements throughout the year to highlight its impact and recognize the contributions of key stakeholders.

Marking its silver jubilee, the Coalition says it remains committed to deepening partnerships and advancing transparency, accountability, and citizen participation in governance, as it looks ahead to the next phase of its work.
