Project Manager of MTN Ghana, Mrs. Josephine Jacaboba Amoah, has urged young professionals and aspiring entrants into the workforce to remain committed to excellence, continuous learning, and personal development to thrive in an increasingly competitive business environment.

Speaking at the Success Africa Summit held at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), Mrs. Amoah said career excellence demands dedication, sacrifice, and a deliberate effort to consistently exceed expectations.

She encouraged young people to invest intentionally in their personal and professional growth, overcome challenges, and strive to make meaningful contributions in their chosen fields.

“Young professionals and people seeking to enter the work environment must intentionally invest in growth, strive to overcome challenges and stay committed to making meaningful impact in their respective fields,” she said.

Mrs. Amoah stressed that individuals seeking success must position themselves as leaders by delivering exceptional results and maintaining high standards of performance.

She noted that advances in technology and digitalisation have transformed the world into a global village, making it essential for young professionals to adopt a global mindset and remain adaptable to change.

“Career excellence is more than just reaching the pinnacle of success; it is about continuous learning, growth, and self-improvement,” she stated.

The summit, organised by Success Africa Foundation, brought together students, professionals, and industry leaders to discuss leadership, personal development, and career advancement in the digital era.

Mrs. Amoah advised participants not to be discouraged by setbacks or limitations but rather focus on opportunities for learning and growth. She emphasised that excellence requires a commitment to high performance, continuous self-improvement, and a desire to make a lasting impact within one’s profession.
